🇵🇭 Philippines · ASEAN
118 million buyers who answer on Messenger. Almost nobody is there.
English-fluent buying committees, the fastest enterprise cycles in ASEAN, and a mid-market most foreign vendors never work because they only see outsourcing. We put a local face on the account and reach buyers on the channel they reply to.

The channel reality
Your sequence is running on the one channel Filipino buyers barely use.
Three channels decide whether a first approach lands. Only one of them is LinkedIn, and it is the weakest of the three.
Messenger is the inbox
95% of Filipino internet users are on Facebook Messenger. Your buyer reads a LinkedIn message, then checks your rep's Facebook profile: photos, mutual friends, whether this person is real. A blank profile ends the conversation before it starts.
Viber carries the follow-up
71% penetration, and it is where working groups and vendor threads live. Once a deal is live, the thread moves to Viber. If your team is not there, you are relying on email that nobody opens.
LinkedIn is proof, not reach
18% penetration means LinkedIn is a verification layer, not a pipeline channel. Buyers use it to confirm titles and check who else is talking about your category, then move the conversation somewhere they actually reply.
How buyers decide
Fluent English removes the language barrier. It does not remove the trust barrier.
- "Pakikisama" means you are assessed as a person first and a vendor second. Rapport is part of the evaluation, not a warm-up to it.
- "Utang na loob" makes referrals compound. One well-handled introduction produces the next three without a campaign behind it.
- English fluency removes the translation cost but not the outsider cost. A local face on the account still decides whether you get the second meeting.
- Decisions clear a committee. Expect finance, IT and the business owner in the room, usually at different times.
One executive needed five meetings across a year, and met family, before a single contract was signed. The deal closed. The next two came by referral, with no campaign behind them.
The engine
What we run in the Philippines, in order.
The same demand generation motion we run across ANZ and ASEAN, executed on Philippine channels with local operators.
Account map before outreach
We build the named account list with the buying committee attached, so effort goes to accounts that can actually sign this fiscal year.
Local advisors publish in your category
In-market operators post as advisors in your vertical. Buyers see the category discussed by someone local before they ever see your name in an inbox.
Reach out where they reply
Messenger for the first warm approach, Viber for follow-up, LinkedIn to verify. Same sequence logic, correct channel for the market.
Meeting, then nurture
The first meeting carries the same educational value as the material that earned it. Afterwards the contact joins our closed-circle briefings while your team works the opportunity.

Avoid these
Four ways foreign vendors write off this market.
- Running a LinkedIn-only sequence and concluding the market is quiet.
- Covering the Philippines from a Singapore desk with no local profile on the account.
- Treating the country as an outsourcing base rather than a mid-market buying market.
- Ignoring the Data Privacy Act consent requirements on cold outreach.
